Associate Manager, Content Production & Delivery, EPUB

Location: Remote - London

Salary: £47,000–£62,000 per year in the UK. Additional benefits include an annual discretionary incentive bonus, a 12% employer pension contribution, and medical benefits.

What you will do

• Own the EPUB publishing pipeline and ensure accurate, consistent, accessible outputs.
• Work hands-on with the master BITS XML dataset within a single-source publishing model supporting PDF, EPUB, and LMS outputs.
• Analyse quality-review errors and improve underlying workflows to prevent recurring issues, reduce rework, and increase throughput.
• Maintain and optimise EPUB transformation, rendering, and validation workflows across devices and reading environments.
• Design, test, and implement workflow automation and data conversion improvements.
• Document publishing standards and coordinate with Production, Quality Review, Content Technology, and other specialists on complex issues.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with XML and structured content in an electronic or digital publishing environment.
• Practical knowledge of single-source publishing and transforming structured source content into multiple formats.
• Experience with XML structures, schemas, DTDs, or comparable structured-content standards.
• Experience producing digital publishing outputs and resolving problems within transformation and publishing pipelines.
• Working knowledge of EPUB production, accessibility, semantic tagging, and cross-device rendering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills.

• Experience with data conversion or ingestion projects.
• Experience collaborating across production, quality, and technology functions.
