Writer/Editor, E-Commerce

Location: Hybrid in Universal City, California; generally requires working from the office at least three days per week.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Write, edit, and optimize shoppable e-commerce articles aligned with editorial calendars, seasonal moments, search demand, and product performance.
• Pitch high-intent commerce stories based on consumer trends, competitive coverage, affiliate data, and real-time signals.
• Integrate paid content, product placements, affiliate offers, and commerce partnerships while maintaining editorial standards.
• Select and merchandise products using commission rates, EPC, conversion, retailer availability, promotions, and audience relevance.
• Book and interview celebrities, influencers, and experts, collaborating with social and video teams on cross-platform content.
• Support affiliate operations, partner onboarding, tracking QA, reporting, and performance-based content optimization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a shopping, pop culture, or marketing writer.
• Experience creating CMS content for digital and social media platforms and writing for SEO.
• Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to create brand-appropriate copy that drives action.
• Strong interest in consumer trends, entertainment, lifestyle, fashion, and celebrity news.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Nice to have

• Photo and video editing experience with Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
