Billing Analyst

What you will do

• Manage billing for multiple projects across the complete billing cycle, from contract review through final invoice delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers on contracts, change orders, and other billing-related modifications.
• Request, input, and code subconsultant invoices and prepare invoice packages with supporting documentation.
• Research billing discrepancies, monitor unbilled balances and WIP, and pursue collections on aged accounts receivable.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to include billable vouchers and reimbursable expenses in billing periods.
• Track government compliance commitments and subconsultant payments and prepare accounts receivable reports.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of project billing experience; 4+ years of experience listed for the role.
• Proficiency in Excel, including formula-driven spreadsheets.
• Experience with Deltek ERP systems such as Vision or Vantagepoint.
• Experience with TXDOT or other Department of Transportation invoicing is preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is not required.
