Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work from home, at the client, or from the Amsterdam office.

What you will do

• Design, implement, manage, monitor, and improve cybersecurity measures protecting data, applications, systems, and network infrastructures.
• Advise clients on cybersecurity architecture, sizing, modeling, proofs of concept, integration, operations, hardening, maintenance, upgrades, and evolution.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and security breaches, including reverse engineering and root cause analysis.
• Prepare security approval documentation, including security architecture and justification files, security plans, and interconnection policies.
• Contribute to cybersecurity service development, strategy interpretation, business development, and commercial initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a consultancy firm, including cybersecurity projects.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, Unix/Linux, Windows or macOS, AWS, Azure or GCP, web servers, databases, middleware, and cryptography.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics, with the ability to quickly build expertise.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills are required.
