Cyber Security Analyst (Microsoft Security)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; on-site. A valid working visa for the Netherlands is required.

What you will do

• Investigate and respond to security alerts, incidents, and cyber threats affecting customer environments.
• Monitor and analyze security events using Microsoft Security technologies, security monitoring tools, and SIEM platforms.
• Support threat detection, incident response, and security improvement activities.
• Guide customers and provide updates during security investigations.
• Help establish SOC processes, operational procedures, and continuous service improvements.
• Collaborate with the European cybersecurity team and support the growth of the Dutch SOC capability.

Requirements

• Experience in a Security Operations Centre, cybersecurity operations, or a similar security-focused environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Security technologies, security monitoring tools, or SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of cyber threat detection, incident investigation, and response practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to investigations.
• Professional Dutch and English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Valid working visa for the Netherlands.
