Network Security Engineer

What you will do

• Implement and maintain Zero Trust-aligned security architectures for enterprise and data center networks.
• Configure Layer 3/4 security, Multi-VRF segmentation, security policies, and secure remote access.
• Implement and test hyperscale data center security solutions, including IPS/NDR and anti-DDoS capabilities.
• Integrate next-generation firewalls with Microsoft Entra ID and Okta, and maintain firewall management, automation, and logging.
• Operate Layer 7 inspection, IPS, user identification, ZTNA, SASE, and monitoring integrations with Zabbix, Grafana, and Akvorado.
• Perform security hardening, vulnerability management, patching, upgrades, and effectiveness checks for network and infrastructure devices.

Requirements

• Networking and security protocol experience, including TCP/IP, HTTP(S), DNS, TLS, IPsec, and routing protocols.
• Experience with backbone and data center technologies such as EVPN, L3VPN MPLS, MP-BGP, and L2VPN.
• Hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto Networks or Check Point.
• Experience with Python, Go, or equivalent automation, plus Unix/Linux and major network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting NGFW capabilities and integrations, including IPS, User-ID, Microsoft Entra ID, and ZTNA.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the European country where they apply and provide proof of employment eligibility.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IPv6, Ansible, Terraform, NetBox, SaltStack, highly available distributed systems, Zero Trust, and micro-segmentation.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, or NSE 4/7 and professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience with Splunk, CrowdStrike, Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager, or FortiManager.
• Exposure to DevSecOps, CSPM/CWPP, offensive security, red teaming, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, or GDPR.
