What you will do
- Assess customer scientific, technical, and workflow requirements across pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
- Design and recommend microscopy products, configurations, workflows, and integrated solutions aligned with product capabilities and specifications.
- Prepare application, solution, design, and implementation specifications.
- Plan and deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, application workshops, technical evaluations, sample preparation, image acquisition, and analysis workflows.
- Provide product and application training, technical consultation, troubleshooting, and support to customers, sales teams, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Capture customer feedback, application insights, market developments, and competitive intelligence to support solution development and customer success.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Microscopy, Imaging, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in application specialist, field application, technical product support, scientific support, or customer-facing microscopy/imaging roles.
- Strong knowledge of microscopy workflows, imaging techniques, sample preparation, image acquisition, analysis methods, and application optimization.
- Ability to translate customer scientific and workflow needs into technical solutions and conduct demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-concept activities, training, and technical evaluations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory for demonstrations, workshops, installations, training, evaluations, and industry events.
