Software Engineer in Test, ToolChain QE

What you will do

• Design and implement tests, test systems, tooling, and automation for new ToolChain features.
• Build internal tools for test execution, diagnostics, reporting, workflow efficiency, and developer feedback.
• Maintain and improve test jobs on Jenkins CI, including execution reliability and performance.
• Write Python automation and scripts for testing, analysis, reporting, environment setup, and diagnostics.
• Analyse automated test results and investigate failures across product, test, infrastructure, build, and execution environments.
• Participate in code and documentation reviews while applying quality engineering and risk-based testing practices.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another relevant technical or scientific field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including designing, implementing, debugging, and maintaining code.
• Understanding of software testing techniques and ability to write and maintain unit and system tests.
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python and ability to build practical automation or internal tools.
• Analytical problem-solving, strong written and verbal communication, and effective cross-team collaboration.
• Interest in quality engineering, testing, diagnostics, tooling, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience triaging software bugs and testing released products such as developer tools, compilers, or SDKs.
• Knowledge of coverage-directed fuzzing, property-based testing, static analysis, or sanitizers.
• Practical knowledge of C++ and experience navigating or testing large codebases.
• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD systems and internal engineering tools.
• Experience improving test reliability, maintainability, failure diagnostics, or reporting.
