Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Develop and execute automated tests across UI and API layers, including REST, JSON, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Use AI-assisted tools for test case creation, automation development, code review, and defect analysis.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and build reusable automation components.
• Collaborate with developers and the scrum master on test strategy and quality objectives.
• Analyze test results and report defects, risks, quality trends, and test coverage while participating in Agile Scrum ceremonies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of QA or test automation experience and 2+ years of hands-on Playwright experience.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills with knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch and testing both UI and API layers.
• Hands-on Azure DevOps experience covering work management, test planning, and pipeline integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git branching strategies, and basic to intermediate SQL.
• Upper-Intermediate English required.
