Accounts Payable Officer

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; hybrid work options available.

What you will do

• Process high volumes of stock, inventory, and operational invoices.
• Enter credit adjustment notes based on Requests for Credits.
• Prepare EFT payments according to scheduled payment runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve unreconciled invoices and credits.
• Respond to supplier and internal stakeholder queries.
• Support process improvement projects, SOX compliance, and regular audits.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role.
• Experience processing service and/or stock and inventory invoices in a large organisation.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Reliability and flexibility in a changing, fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and collaborative approach to working within a finance team.
