Associate Medical Director

Location: Onsite health center in Orlando, Florida, United States. Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week; clinic hours are 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Monday–Friday and 9:00 AM–5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

What you will do

• Provide histories, physical examinations, prescriptions, and comprehensive episodic, preventive, occupational, and primary care.
• Provide clinical supervision and, where applicable, collaborative physician support for advanced practice providers.
• Assist the Medical Director with leading the health center and setting annual clinical goals and objectives.
• Drive outcomes across clinical programs and help develop clinical and administrative policies.
• Mentor, teach, and support physicians and provider staff while contributing to candidate assessments.
• Partner with medical, operations, and site teams to improve member engagement, utilization, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Medical license required in each state of practice or oversight, with matching federal DEA and applicable state controlled-substance licenses.
• Current ABMS, AMA, or AOA board certification, or board eligibility with a requirement to sit for boards within one year of hire.
• Current hands-on CPR certification meeting AHA standards, such as BLS for Healthcare Providers, Professional Rescuer BLS, or ACLS.
• At least 3 years of experience in family medicine, emergency medicine, primary care, occupational medicine, or another relevant clinical field.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records is strongly preferred.
