Tooling & Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Location: Teparuk, Thailand; onsite role

Company

hirify.global Technology manufactures nano-recording heads and other components for hard disk drives at its Teparuk facility.

What you will do

• Participate in engineering projects involving tooling development, process improvement, and manufacturing optimization.
• Analyze tooling performance, process capability, production workflows, efficiency, quality, and cycle time.
• Collect data, perform statistical analysis, and investigate root causes of manufacturing issues.
• Support tooling design validation, prototype testing, and process qualification.
• Evaluate automation and digitalization opportunities and develop dashboards, reports, and visualization tools.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, and Production teams; document findings and present recommendations.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, or Industrial Engineering principles.
• Basic understanding of CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of semiconductors, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Ability to conduct engineering analysis, document findings, and communicate results to stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with programming, automation, data analytics, or machine learning.
