Sr. DevSecOps Engineer III (DevSecOps)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States

Salary: $200,000–$235,000 per year, with potential performance-based bonuses and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classified environments in collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins with security scanning, STIG compliance validation, and troubleshooting support.
• Create CloudFormation-based infrastructure-as-code templates for highly available, resilient, and secure AWS DevSecOps tooling across GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting, log analysis, root cause analysis, and mitigation planning for complex service issues.
• Provide guidance on secure coding, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, ATO support, Docker security, and OpenShift deployments.
• Perform code reviews, maintain technical documentation, share knowledge, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly is required.
• Eligibility to work in the United States must be verified upon hire.
• IAT Level 2 certification, such as Security+, GSEC, or SSCP.
• 10+ years of DevSecOps or related experience across infrastructure automation, scalability, reliability, and classified domains such as IL5 and IL6+.
• Expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, AWS, Linux, scripting, infrastructure as code, and tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, OpenShift, Artifactory, SonarQube, or Prisma Cloud.
• Experience with STIG/SRG compliance, security frameworks, vulnerability remediation, customer support, and ticketing systems.
