Director, HRBP, International - Eastern Europe

Location: Fully remote, based in Eastern Europe; eligible locations include Czechia, Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, Norway (Oslo), and the UK.

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic HR business partner to senior leaders across EMEA and APAC, including leaders of global teams.
• Advise regional leadership on organizational design, talent strategy, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Partner with the CHRO on improving the strategic and operational maturity of the People function.
• Manage and coach HR business partners in Europe while ensuring smooth regional operations.
• Own employee relations casework and determine when matters should be escalated to Legal or the CHRO.
• Build scalable people processes and operating models in partnership with external legal, employer-of-record, and advisory resources.

Requirements

• Typically 10 or more years of experience as a senior HR business partner leader.
• Strong experience advising senior leaders on organizational design, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Deep business acumen and the ability to shape business decisions through people strategy.
• Experience managing and developing team members, with a player-coach approach.
• Experience improving structure, processes, and operational excellence within a People function.
• Experience in both fast-moving startups and larger global organizations across multiple countries and cultures.

• Experience partnering with external legal and compliance resources across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience building People functions in ambiguous, rapidly scaling environments.
