.NET Developer (Azure)

Location: Amsterdam, North Holland, with 3 days remote and 2 days in the Utrecht office. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the Netherlands.

Salary: Negotiable EUR per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, configure, and manage software applications and platforms.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for service delivery to the business and its customers.
• Contribute to initiatives that extend functionality, redesign technical architecture, and integrate applications.
• Develop within a Microsoft/.NET environment running on Azure.
• Work as part of an agile Scrum team in a software engineering department of approximately 100 people.
• Support the organisation’s transition to a DevOps way of working.

Requirements

• In-depth experience with .NET and C#.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud solutions.
• At least 8 years of software development experience, including enterprise environments.
• Knowledge or experience in the financial or banking sector.
• Experience with software architecture, including event-driven solutions and clean architecture.
• Strong CI/CD experience, maintainable software practices, and eligibility to live and work in the Netherlands; strong written and spoken English is essential.

Nice to have

• Experience redesigning or refactoring legacy systems.
• Azure certification.
• Clear communication skills and willingness to support less experienced developers.
