Senior Solutions Engineer (Spend/ERP)

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid arrangement with 3 days in the office. Implementation coverage spans APAC.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex Spend and corporate card implementations for enterprise and high-growth customers across APAC.
• Advise customers and internal teams on integration approaches, system configuration, solution design, and implementation planning.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable architectures involving ERP, HRIS, accounting systems, APIs, and third-party connectors.
• Lead technical discovery, troubleshoot integration challenges, and guide customers through complex configuration decisions.
• Coordinate Sales, Merchant Services, Product, Operations, Risk, Engineering, and external partners from pre-sales through go-live and early spend activation.
• Create documentation, playbooks, and lightweight tooling while channeling customer feedback into product and engineering roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, customer success, or project/program management for complex technology or financial services implementations.
• 4+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services experience in SaaS, fintech, consulting, systems integration, or enterprise implementation.
• Experience delivering ERP, accounting system, or expense platform implementations, including GL, cost centre, entity, and card-feed data flows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading steering meetings, preparing status updates, and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with C-level executives, technical teams, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with API-based integrations and web, SSO, ERP, or integration-engineering concepts.
• Project management or agile certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master.
• Experience managing strategic or enterprise accounts within a broader account team.
• Experience working in fast-moving and ambiguous environments using structured but pragmatic delivery methods.
