ServiceNow Technical Consultant (ServiceNow)

Location: Office locations in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane, Australia; minimum Baseline clearance required.

What you will do

• Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, business analysis, and requirements documentation.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
• Configure ServiceNow workflows and flows, forms, fields, UI policies, notifications, SLAs, and related platform features.
• Act as the functional subject matter expert and collaborate with technical developers during implementation.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, acceptance criteria definition, and Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, customer-focused, and aligned with the ServiceNow product roadmap.

Requirements

• Minimum Baseline clearance required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow solutions in a functional or consulting capacity.
• Strong business analysis skills, including eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, including Flow Designer, forms, UI policies, notifications, and data relationships.
• Understanding of ITIL-aligned and enterprise business processes.
• Experience with customer engagement, workshops, Agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Business Analyst certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification in ITSM, CRM, HRSD, SPM, FSM, or PSDS.
• ServiceNow Micro-Certification in Flow Designer or ITIL 4 Foundation.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified System Administrator certification.
