Design Engineer (Frontend)

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: $184,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Push the boundaries of hirify.global's developer-facing marketing site through motion, interaction, and performance.
• Engineer the new brand identity into a living system of reusable components, motion patterns, and tooling.
• Build launch pages, product pages, and campaign surfaces with a high bar for quality and speed.
• Measure and defend web performance using real performance budgets and Core Web Vitals.
• Partner with brand designers, marketers, and design engineers to turn ambitious concepts into shipped web experiences.

Requirements

• Exceptional frontend engineering skills with a portfolio of production web work.
• Strong attention to motion, interaction, visual detail, and performance.
• Ability to translate brand and design intent into reusable systems and components.
• Fast, self-directed execution and the ability to ship polished work without perfect specifications.
• Strong collaboration skills with designers and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer-tools, API, or infrastructure companies.
• WebGL, shaders, or creative-coding experience.
• Contributions to design systems, including tokens, primitives, and documentation.
• Experience optimizing rich websites for Core Web Vitals.
• Open-source contributions or thoughtful issues and pull requests on GitHub repositories.
