GMP Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain assigned GMP areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitized condition.
• Perform cleaning tasks involving walls, floors, windows, wipe-downs, maintenance issue reporting, and shutdown cleaning.
• Follow customer and SBM safety rules, SOPs, procedures, and proper gowning requirements.
• Complete daily FN logs, work orders, punch-list items, and internally identified tasks accurately.
• Use personal protective equipment and handle cleaning compounds and chemicals safely.
• Support shift leads and provide area coverage during staffing shortages while communicating professionally with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months to one year of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment upkeep, cleaning compounds, and chemical safety.
• Completion of required safety, task, chemical safety, and annual qualification training.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds; a driver's license or forklift certification may be required.

Nice to have

• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Forklift certification, where required for the assignment.
