What you will do

  • Respond to clinical and business application support requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Manage application and team documentation, including architecture diagrams, dependency maps, integrations, and disaster recovery materials.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate support for application teams.
  • Plan and execute application upgrades, security patching, implementations, decommissioning, and data archiving.
  • Participate in and lead smaller analyst-led projects, coordinating schedules, follow-ups, and status communication.
  • Support clinically integrated hospital and physician-office workflows and escalate issues after appropriate investigation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, healthcare informatics, computer science, or a related field, or relevant education and 8+ years of industry experience.
  • At least five years of healthcare IT or equivalent application analyst experience.
  • Epic ASAP certification.
  • Experience with ITIL-aligned incident, request, and change management processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; some assignments may require 24x7 on-call participation and travel as necessary.
