AI-Augmented QA Engineer

Location: Philippines; remote work during U.S. business hours

What you will do

• Write and maintain automated end-to-end tests with Playwright and expand coverage of critical product workflows.
• Build regression tests that run automatically on every pull request.
• Own test-suite and CI-pipeline reliability, including flaky-test diagnosis, test data management, and staging stability.
• Use AI-assisted browser automation, Claude, and LLM-based tools to explore edge cases and identify issues beyond scripted regression tests.
• Collaborate directly with frontend and backend engineers on testing requirements, product flows, failures, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of QA, software testing, or test automation experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered with strong automation skills.
• Strong TypeScript skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable test code.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or a similar end-to-end testing framework.
• Understanding of web application testing, DOM interaction, network requests, and asynchronous behavior.
• Experience diagnosing flaky automated tests and creating or maintaining regression tests.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, debug issues, and learn AI tools for testing.

Nice to have

• Experience building E2E testing infrastructure, integrating tests into CI pipelines, and managing test data, parallelization, or reporting.
• Experience testing complex B2B, multi-tenant, role-based, or multi-step web applications.
• Experience with React applications, Sentry, GCP Stackdriver, or similar observability tools.
• Familiarity with Claude or other AI/LLM-based development and testing tools.
