What you will do
- Lead, manage, and grow teams of data engineers and BI developers.
- Define and implement the data strategy, governance policies, and data management processes.
- Use data and analytics to support decisions on media acquisition, user usage, and business metrics.
- Improve data quality and accuracy through monitoring, auditing, and architectural enhancements.
- Promote data literacy, self-service analytics, and AI-powered automation across the organization.
- Evaluate and implement modern data technologies and tools.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in BI and data, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with massive-scale, high-volume data; B2C, mobile apps, gaming, or ad-tech experience is preferred.
- Experience managing and mentoring data engineers and BI developers.
- Hands-on experience building self-service data tools with automation and AI-driven workflows.
- Expertise in SQL, proficiency in Python for data engineering, and a strong background in data visualization architecture.
- Experience with cloud-based data management and analytics tools, plus strong communication and presentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, and data MCP access.
- Experience with BigQuery, Looker, Mixpanel, DBT, or Airflow.
