Senior Software Engineer (Security)

What you will do

• Own small-to-medium projects from technical design through production, including data modeling, background tasks, and APIs.
• Build systems that transform hirify.global Security data into entity stores, risk scores, entity resolution, and analyst workflows.
• Profile and optimize queries, reduce timeouts, and design reliable features for varied customer environments.
• Write TypeScript and React code with Node.js services and APIs where needed.
• Build telemetry, tests, and safeguards for predictable production behavior.
• Review code, support teammates, and collaborate across hirify.global Security, Kibana, hirify.globalsearch/ES|QL, and Support.

Requirements

• Several years of experience building and maintaining production software.
• Deep TypeScript and JavaScript expertise, particularly with React and Node.js.
• Experience leading projects from conception through deployment.
• Experience using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code while retaining ownership of outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across functions, projects, codebases, and distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kibana, hirify.globalsearch, or hirify.global Security.
• Experience with SIEM/UEBA.
• Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization.
• Experience building AI-assisted or agent-guided workflows with human controls.
