Facade Engineer

What you will do

• Design and deliver facade and structural engineering solutions from concept development through detailed design, documentation, analysis, specifications, and construction support.
• Analyze curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and specialist facade systems to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare tender documentation, design specifications, and project deliverables aligned with client requirements and local building codes.
• Plan projects, coordinate resources, and manage timelines, budgets, quality, and deliverables.
• Coordinate designs with architects, internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Support problem-solving and innovation across complex, high-profile facade projects.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in facade engineering or a similar consultancy role.
• Demonstrated experience with curtain wall systems, glazing, cladding, and specialist facade systems.
• Proficiency with REVIT, BIM, SpaceGass, or equivalent design tools.
• Strong knowledge of project management, budget control, timelines, and client requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, and quality-assurance skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-rise or complex facade systems in challenging environments.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian and GCC building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Knowledge of sustainable facade design and energy-efficient building envelope systems.
• Professional engineering licensure or relevant structural or facade engineering certifications.
• Experience working in multicultural and collaborative teams.
