AVP, CMDB Administrator (ServiceNow)

What you will do

• Administer and continuously improve the bank’s ServiceNow CMDB and related Service Configuration Management processes.
• Establish CMDB governance standards, data quality metrics, remediation plans, and compliance reporting.
• Design and maintain CI classes, relationships, service mappings, Discovery processes, integrations, and automated population mechanisms.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, architecture, asset management, and business teams to resolve configuration data issues.
• Perform impact analysis and dependency mapping to support change management, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and operational decisions.
• Mentor Configuration Management team members and improve operational efficiency through automation and ServiceNow capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience administering Configuration Management Databases.
• At least 1 year of experience managing, leading, or supervising staff.
• Advanced knowledge of CMDB practices, tools, techniques, ServiceNow CMDB administration, data modeling, class structures, relationships, and service mapping.
• General knowledge of ITIL v4 and Service Configuration Management practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, leadership, and confidentiality skills.

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating and leading teams through problem resolution.
• ITIL v4, CMDB, or ServiceNow certification; certification is expected within the first six months if not already held.
