Manager, Business Intelligence

What you will do

• Lead, coach, hire, and develop BI product owners and reporting engineers across two skill tracks.
• Own the BI roadmap, intake, prioritization, delivery cadence, reporting lifecycle, and stakeholder relationships.
• Administer Amazon Quick Suite, including datasets, SPICE, dashboards, permissions, row-level security, embedded analytics, and asset promotion.
• Build governed data models and metric definitions across Redshift, Snowflake, POS, reservations, labor, ERP, CRM, marketing, and guest-feedback systems.
• Deliver financial, operational, guest experience, food and beverage, marketing, and venue-comparison reporting.
• Manage BI budgets, vendor invoices, cloud consumption, data quality, privacy controls, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or analytics engineering, including 2+ years managing people.
• Experience leading mixed teams of technical builders and business-facing product or analyst roles.
• Hands-on Amazon Quick Suite/Amazon QuickSight administration and development, including datasets, SPICE, row-level security, and permissions.
• Advanced SQL, performance tuning with Redshift and/or Snowflake, and strong dimensional data modeling skills.
• Experience with agile delivery, stakeholder influence, technology-team collaboration, budgets, invoice review, and cloud-spend forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, plus knowledge of data privacy and access governance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Quick Sight Q, Quick Flows, Quick Automate, Quick Research, AI tools, LLM assistants, or MCP servers.
• Knowledge of software capitalization, FinOps, AWS Cost Explorer, Snowflake resource monitors, dbt, Git, Python, and AWS services.
• Experience with Airflow, Dagster, modern ELT, experimentation, forecasting, predictive modeling, or multi-unit hospitality, entertainment, or retail analytics.
