Commercial Construction Project Executive (Advanced Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Provide executive oversight for multiple advanced manufacturing and industrial construction projects.
• Lead the full project lifecycle from preconstruction, estimating, procurement, and subcontractor engagement through construction, equipment installation, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Coordinate base-building construction with process utilities, process equipment, automation, controls, production systems, and high-density MEP infrastructure.
• Plan shutdowns, phased construction, utility tie-ins, equipment installation, startup support, commissioning, training, and production-readiness activities in active manufacturing environments.
• Manage project safety, quality, schedule, cost, profitability, risk, change orders, and client satisfaction.
• Lead business development activities, client presentations, project pursuits, relationship management, and growth of the Dallas advanced manufacturing practice.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of commercial construction experience, including substantial general contractor experience.
• Demonstrated delivery of advanced manufacturing, industrial, process-related, or other technically complex construction projects.
• Experience managing construction in active manufacturing or controlled operational environments, including cleanrooms, dry rooms, laboratories, production areas, and process infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of process utilities, equipment installation, automation, controls, material handling, commissioning, system validation, and turnover documentation.
• Experience with estimating, budgets, scopes of work, bid packages, subcontractor proposals, integrated schedules, cost reports, procurement, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, JD Edwards, and project-specific software platforms.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of the Dallas and Texas advanced manufacturing construction markets.
• A four-year degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or business.
• Experience leading multiple projects and project teams simultaneously.
