Project Manager (Commercial Construction)

Location: Costa Mesa, California, United States; on-site presence may vary according to client requirements

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per year, plus potential bonuses and benefits

What you will do

• Manage large-scale commercial construction projects and coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and regional stakeholders.
• Track milestones, schedules, project information, design standards, costs, and project governance requirements across multiple projects.
• Lead regular meetings, weekly reviews, monthly trackers, status reporting, and communication across project teams.
• Review drawing submittals, timelines, costs, status reports, and design team performance against commission criteria.
• Provide technical guidance on cost control, value engineering, constructability, and field RFIs.
• Support client relationships, strategic project decisions, knowledge management, process improvement, and applicable SOX controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related construction field.
• 3–5 years of relevant project management experience.
• Strong organizational, management, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
• Ability to meet on-site presence requirements based on client needs.
