Lead Computer Vision Architect (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote and hybrid opportunities are available for hiring in Bulgaria, Georgia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine.

Salary: EUR 5,800–6,500 gross per month, depending on hiring location and experience.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and hands-on development of a scalable computer vision platform for manufacturing environments.
• Define repeatable, configurable architecture for deployment across more than 50 production plants.
• Design integrations covering cameras, edge devices, on-premises infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, and manufacturing equipment.
• Guide the full solution lifecycle from discovery and prototyping through production deployment and ongoing support.
• Review implementations, develop technical prototypes, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure consistency across plant environments.
• Collaborate with business, plant, product, data science, engineering, and infrastructure stakeholders.

Requirements

• Production-grade computer vision experience, including model development and real-time inference.
• Experience taking computer vision solutions from proof of concept through production and ongoing support.
• Strong software architecture, systems integration, and scalable platform design expertise.
• Experience integrating cameras, industrial equipment, edge devices, cloud services, and operational systems.
• Experience with MLOps practices including model testing, deployment, monitoring, versioning, and retraining.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and Overall Equipment Effectiveness, including availability, performance, and quality.
