CV/AI Engineer (Football Analytics)

What you will do

• Build and improve end-to-end football tracking systems from data and model development through production delivery.
• Develop, integrate, and validate models and algorithms for camera pose estimation, player localization, and 2D-to-3D reconstruction.
• Work with datasets, preprocessing, annotation, augmentation, evaluation, and CV/ML model pipelines.
• Improve tracking and post-processing through trajectory refinement, error correction, and event-driven processing.
• Contribute to multi-camera tracking, detection matching, identity consistency, stitching, and handling occlusions and lost tracks.
• Take increasing ownership of technical problems, document solutions, and collaborate with the CV/ML team on production-oriented systems.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in computer vision and/or machine learning, preferably in real-world or production projects.
• Strong Python skills and solid experience with PyTorch.
• Understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals, including training, evaluation, optimization, and data pipelines.
• Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and optimization.
• Practical experience with image or video processing, detection, classification, segmentation, or tracking.
• Ability to own technical problems end-to-end and communicate and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with CNNs, Vision Transformers, VLMs, generative models, OpenCV, 3D vision, or SLAM.
