Senior Director, Healthcare Transformation & Health Equity (Medical Management): Leading a portfolio of medical management initiatives and implementing an outcomes-based Cultural Competency Plan with an accent on clinical operations, health equity, and culturally competent care. Location: Remote in California; candidates must reside in California and be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $148,000–$274,200 per year

What you will do

  • Lead the performance, planning, implementation, and support of a portfolio of medical management initiatives across care management, utilization management, outreach, and physical and behavioral health services.
  • Evaluate specialty vendors, define business terms, and lead the implementation of medical management programs with internal departments and external partners.
  • Oversee and directly manage teams responsible for project management, performance improvement, and clinical analytics.
  • Develop culturally inclusive programs, provider training, community partnerships, and population-specific activities to improve health outcomes.
  • Assess provider-network cultural diversity, identify resource gaps, and recommend credentialing and network-development improvements.
  • Implement a data-driven Cultural Competency Plan aligned with CLAS standards, using KPIs and health equity dashboards to monitor and improve performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Must reside in California.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
