Memory Care Coordinator (Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care)

What you will do

• Promote the Embrace philosophy for residents, families, and staff.
• Implement and oversee the six Embrace pillars: Wellness, Enrichment, Creativity, Connection, Challenge, and Teamwork.
• Oversee daily Memory Care operations in partnership with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.
• Lead a minimum of 5–7 innovative Memory Care programs per day and encourage resident participation.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident activities while providing hands-on support to community staff.
• Monitor programming processes, resident and family satisfaction, compliance, and fiscal responsibility.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in Alzheimer’s or dementia care, senior recreation programming, and management.
• Associate’s degree preferred in Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Acceptable fluency in English for speaking, reading, writing, and workplace communication.
• Proven leadership experience and experience with innovative, person-centered programming.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Activity Director Certified, Certified Dementia Practitioner, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant certification is relevant to the role.
