IT Finance Systems Analyst - Internship

Location: Onsite in West Des Moines, Iowa, at 7700 Mills Civic Parkway

What you will do

• Support daily, monthly, and quarterly operations of financial systems applications.
• Develop and maintain process flows, functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Assist with financial reports and dashboards by validating data accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Monitor system loads, identify issues, and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and business value.
• Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing, and coordinate training for Finance end users.
• Support compliance and audit initiatives by maintaining system controls and data accuracy.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with enrollment required for Fall 2027.
• Understanding of system implementation methodologies and data structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Interest or experience in financial services is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in West Des Moines for the internship.
