Intern Finance - Financial Planning & Analysis

Location: Columbus, Ohio — Arena District; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the reporting location.

Salary: $17.40–$29.30 per hour

What you will do

• Build long-range financial plans.
• Perform budget-to-actual analysis.
• Prepare operating expense forecasts and variance analyses.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management reports.
• Collaborate with finance managers and department leaders on important projects.
• Participate in professional development and team-building activities while gaining an overview of utility operations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university, majoring in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline.
• Completion of intermediate-level coursework.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong financial acumen, analytical ability, written and verbal communication skills, and work ethic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
