TL;DR
Supervisor, Customer Service (Healthcare Revenue Cycle): Leading a 13-person customer service team supporting healthcare revenue cycle operations with an accent on coaching, quality oversight, performance management, and escalation handling. Focus on analyzing service metrics, resolving complex account issues, reinforcing compliance and training, and improving operational consistency.

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. The role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite based on business needs and may require travel to client, temporary, or corporate office locations.

Salary: $52,100–$78,150 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and support approximately 13 full-time Customer Service associates.
  • Monitor productivity, call quality, customer interactions, service levels, and workflow performance.
  • Conduct one-on-ones, performance discussions, development conversations, and performance management activities.
  • Handle escalations involving complex customer concerns, account issues, service challenges, and operational barriers.
  • Partner with leadership, quality, training, and operations teams to address process gaps and improve consistency.
  • Analyze performance metrics and quality results while ensuring compliance with revenue cycle procedures and customer service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 2–3 years of customer service, call center, healthcare, revenue cycle, patient financial services, or related experience preferred.
  • Prior leadership, team lead, supervisory, coaching, or performance management experience preferred.
  • Experience with physician and hospital operations, compliance, provider relations, billing, insurance, payments, account resolution, or patient financial services.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, critical-thinking, data-analysis, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States; travel and onsite work may be required based on business needs.

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes and related systems.
  • Openness to using AI and emerging technology to improve processes and patient and client experiences.
