DevSecOps Staff Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and related Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Own GitLab CI/CD pipelines and improve the speed, security, and reliability of software delivery.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, vulnerability management, compliance automation, and audit readiness.
• Define cloud governance, cost management, architectural guardrails, observability, monitoring, and incident-response capabilities.
• Build self-service tooling, environment automation, and standardized deployment patterns to improve developer productivity.
• Set technical direction for cloud and platform engineering while partnering with engineering, security, architecture, and product teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles with deep AWS experience.
• Strong experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools, Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and management, preferably with GitLab.
• Solid knowledge of DevSecOps, security scanning, compliance automation, cloud governance, cost optimization, and AWS architectural practices.
• Experience setting technical direction, influencing technical and business stakeholders, and delivering incremental solutions using Agile practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience; experience in regulated industries or financial services is required.
