Senior Manager of Onsite Generation & Power Origination

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Workplace: On-site. Travel throughout the United States is required.

What you will do

• Originate behind-the-meter opportunities with generation asset owners, independent power producers, midstream gas counterparties, and other power partners.
• Lead feasibility assessments covering land, gas supply, water, permitting, and interconnection.
• Structure and negotiate power purchase, tolling, and capacity agreements.
• Develop project economics, including $/MWh, $/kW-month, capital and operating cost, and sensitivity analyses.
• Evaluate and select EPC partners and coordinate structured handoffs to engineering, design, and construction.
• Manage the Onsite Generation & Power Origination Associate and build the outbound origination playbook.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, energy, finance, economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 8–12 or more years of experience in power project development, independent power producer origination, energy infrastructure, or behind-the-meter and onsite generation.
• Demonstrated execution of power purchase agreements, tolling agreements, or comparable structured energy transactions.
• Deep familiarity with gas-fired and onsite generation technologies, development timelines, and risk allocation.
• Strong project economics and financial modeling skills, including levelized cost analysis.
• Experience managing EPC selection and coordinating with engineering and construction teams.

Nice to have

• Experience powering data centers, mining operations, or other large flexible loads.
• Established relationships with independent power producers, midstream gas companies, and energy developers.
• Direct people-management experience.
