Technical Account Manager (Auth0)

Location: Canada; travel is required for in-person onboarding and may include the San Francisco headquarters or Chicago office during the first week

Salary: $122,000–$168,000 USD annual salary, plus equity where applicable, bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customer engineering leads, architects, and technical decision-makers.
• Design scalable B2B and B2C customer identity architectures using Auth0 and Okta.
• Build proofs of concept, configure Auth0 tenants, and demonstrate Universal Login, OAuth flows, and Auth0 Actions.
• Test and demonstrate Auth0 and Okta REST APIs using Postman, including user, role, and application configuration operations.
• Resolve complex developer and architecture issues, identify technical risks, and coordinate escalations with Customer Success and Engineering.
• Create code samples, Postman collections, architecture guides, workshops, and technical enablement for customers and TAM peers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related professional experience, or 4+ years with a Master’s degree, including 3+ years in Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or Developer Advocacy.
• 3+ years of experience in customer identity, API security, web or mobile authentication, or modern application development.
• Deep practical knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, REST APIs, webhooks, and Postman.
• Hands-on ability to read, modify, or build simple applications with JavaScript or TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or React.
• Understanding of B2B and B2C identity, tenant management, social identity providers, enterprise connections, user migration, SSO, and SCIM provisioning.
• Excellent communication skills, including live technical demonstrations, API troubleshooting, architecture whiteboarding, and customer expectation management.

Nice to have

• BA, BS, or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
