Vice President, Business Transformation - Investment Lifecyle (Alternative Investments)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States

Base salary: $165,000–$200,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead high-visibility business transformation initiatives spanning investment operations, trading, compliance, technology, and data.
• Analyze and optimize front-to-back investment lifecycle processes, including private deal workflows, trade capture, order management, allocations, settlements, reconciliations, and lifecycle events.
• Support OMS and investment operations system implementations, enhancements, integrations, and migrations.
• Design, document, and implement scalable business processes, policies, workflows, SOPs, training materials, and transition plans.
• Manage projects end to end, including scope, planning, resourcing, budgeting, execution, risk tracking, and executive reporting.
• Lead change management, monitor adoption, and improve processes through feedback and continuous support.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in asset management or alternative investments, with direct exposure to investment operations and the investment lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of front-to-back investment processes across alternative asset classes; credit experience is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Order Management Systems, including workflow design, configuration concepts, integrations, and control frameworks.
• Experience identifying and resolving operational challenges, managing stakeholders, and independently delivering projects with competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and data- and technology-enabled process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the position; a master’s degree is an advantage.
