Certified Surgical Technician (Operating Room)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; first-shift, onsite operating-room role

Compensation: $15,000 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Identify and prepare sterile instrumentation and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Review surgical bookings and match procedures with preference cards.
• Support surgical verification, intra-operative procedures, surgical counts, and case closure.
• Inspect instruments for sterility, safety, and function.
• Maintain the sterile field and respond appropriately to emergency situations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Tech in Surgery (TS-C) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• New Hampshire Medical Technologist registration is required unless another current New Hampshire state license is held.
• Ability to complete required competencies in preference cards, instrument preparation, sterile-field maintenance, surgical briefings and time-outs, safe instrument handling, surgical counts, inventory, and decontamination.
