Clinical Admissions Therapist (Other State)

Location: Remote, United States. Must be authorized to work in the United States and independently licensed in one of the 50 states. Availability is required for either 11am–7pm MT or 12pm–8pm MT; weekend availability is encouraged.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year.

What you will do

• Meet clients during admission, build rapport, explain programming, and support access to care.
• Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for children, teens, young adults, and adults.
• Assess suitability for virtual intensive outpatient program care and develop provisional diagnoses using DSM-5 criteria.
• Document client information in electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Assign treatment team members and group schedules while coordinating new admissions.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Benefits Verification, Utilization Review, Clinical teams, and external referral sources.

Requirements

• Independent licensure in a mental health field and in one of the 50 U.S. states is required.
• U.S. work authorization and native or bilingual English proficiency are required.
• Experience with behavioral health assessments and admissions is preferred.
• Experience working with children, teens, young adults, and adults is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Reliable technology suitable for confidential, compliant, uninterrupted telehealth services.
