Automotive Technician / Mechanic (Automotive)

Salary: Up to $55 per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles across a wide range of makes and models.
• Complete accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Troubleshoot guest concerns with other technicians and the service department.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, and organization standards while meeting repair deadlines.
• Communicate vehicle concerns clearly and deliver reliable repair results.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all vehicle makes and models.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, strong communication, and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to lift or move over 100 pounds occasionally, work in tight spaces, and use hand tools above shoulder level.
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the workday, drive manual-transmission vehicles, and use a computer.
• ASE certification is preferred, or a commitment to obtain it.
