Business Process Strategist (Telecommunications)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, United States; remote eligible. The role may require travel across Alaska and the lower 48, including visits to retail stores, offices, worksites, or other locations.

Salary: $77,622–$128,852 per year

What you will do

• Analyze processes, workflows, data structures, systems, and operational practices to identify inefficiencies, risks, defects, and improvement opportunities.
• Define and implement scalable operating models, process strategies, and system enhancements aligned with business needs.
• Document workflows, dependencies, use cases, business requirements, process flows, and change logs.
• Translate business needs into measurable functional requirements and support Agile or traditional delivery teams.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, change readiness, training, adoption, and resistance-management activities.
• Develop KPI tracking, data-driven recommendations, executive presentations, and materials that demonstrate business value.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, management information systems, or a relevant field.
• At least four years of experience in financial analysis, project management, change management, process improvement, or a related area.
• Intermediate-level proficiency with broad knowledge of the discipline and the ability to perform moderately complex work with independent judgment.
• Strong skills in process mapping, root-cause analysis, KPI development, data interpretation, stakeholder engagement, and organizational change management.
• Proficiency with computer applications and Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Must be able to travel to locations across Alaska and the lower 48 and comply with identification, background-check, and regulated-facility access requirements.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma or Green Belt certification.
• Certified project or program management credentials.
• Telecommunications experience or relevant telecom certifications.
• Foundational knowledge of business analysis, process mapping, or change management.
