Senior Software Engineer (React)

Location: Hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Salary: $138,000–$181,650 USD per year

What you will do

• Build and improve registration, authentication, user identity, and verification experiences within the Access pillar.
• Develop secure, stable, testable, and maintainable software for millions of players.
• Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs using Java, Python, and related technologies.
• Work with React, TypeScript, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in design, scoping, prioritization, code reviews, planning, and operational support.
• Lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and resolve complex problems at their root cause.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep experience with React, TypeScript, web libraries, and frameworks.
• Strong experience building distributed, highly scalable, and highly available backend systems and APIs with Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, plus Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, observability, testing, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude AI, or Microsoft Copilot.

Nice to have

• Native mobile development experience with iOS, Android, Swift, Kotlin, or React Native.
• Experience with experimentation or product analytics tools such as Amplitude.
