Senior Solution Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, United States; approximately 30% travel

Salary: $165,000–$216,562 annually

What you will do

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives, technical contributors, prospects, and customers.
• Demonstrate Snowflake’s value throughout the sales cycle, from initial demos through proofs of concept, design, and implementation.
• Work with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, shape winning sales strategies, and close large deals.
• Perform deep discovery of customer architectures and connect business problems with Snowflake Data Architecture.
• Track competitive and complementary technologies and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and messaging.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, Python, databases, data warehouses, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboard sessions, presentations, and demos.
• Ability to connect customer business problems and architecture frameworks with Snowflake solutions.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in data science or business administration.
• Experience working with global systems integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture.
