Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Automation)

Location: Remote from the United States; willingness to travel approximately 50–60% for on-site engagements, primarily across Europe.

What you will do

• Lead focused, five-day enterprise deployment engagements and deliver production workflows with customers.
• Design and build workflows, integrations, APIs, and custom nodes tailored to customer environments.
• Extend existing hirify.global nodes and develop reusable automation patterns for high-value enterprise use cases.
• Translate complex operational problems into practical technical designs and production-ready solutions.
• Bridge customer needs with Product and Engineering through clear feedback, technical documentation, and prioritization signals.
• Contribute workflows, integration patterns, and deployment learnings to an internal playbook library.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack or backend engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience building integrations, APIs, automation pipelines, authentication flows, data models, and event-driven systems.
• Ability to create custom nodes, extend integrations, and distinguish one-off workarounds from reusable product improvements.
• Confidence working directly with technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.
• Strong solution design and technical judgment, including the ability to simplify and avoid unnecessary complexity.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–60% for on-site engagements, primarily across Europe.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global or similar workflow automation tools.
• Enterprise deployment, forward-deployed engineering, or solutions engineering experience.
• Experience developing nodes, connectors, plugins, SDKs, or reusable integration frameworks.
• Experience converting customer insights into product feedback, roadmap input, or engineering specifications.
