Operation Specialist Sr (Derivatives)

Location: Remote role based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with remote work available only in select geographic locations subject to approval. Occasional in-office participation may be required.

What you will do

• Monitor, calculate, and exchange collateral related to derivatives and securities market exposure.
• Manage margin calls, resolve disputes, and oversee collateral movements.
• Execute complex, moderate- to high-risk transactions and serve as an escalation point for exceptions.
• Review transaction documents for accuracy, completeness, service-level compliance, and adherence to policies.
• Collaborate with trading, risk management, valuations, operations, and external counterparties to mitigate counterparty credit risk and support settlement.
• Recommend process improvements, support implementation, and train and onboard new hires.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Typically less than one year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Knowledge of operational functions, process management, standard operating procedures, risk mitigation, and compliance.
• Remote work requires a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace; geographic eligibility is subject to hirify.global approval.
