Supervisor Distribution Center (Retail)

Location: Winchester DC (0830), United States. On-site distribution center role with a Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift and Saturdays as needed; flexibility for designated shifts and overtime is required.

Salary: $59,500–$89,300 per year.

What you will do

• Manage workflow across several distribution center departments in partnership with department supervisors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, service-level, productivity, and cost standards.
• Plan dynamic staffing and coordinate with business partners to resolve operational issues.
• Lead direct reports through clear objectives, coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Monitor safety and accident reports, enforce OSHA and company standards, and promote safe work practices.
• Build associate engagement by communicating a clear vision and removing operational barriers.

Requirements

• Prior experience managing teams in a distribution warehouse environment.
• Working knowledge of automated distribution systems and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree.
• Strong interpersonal communication, collaboration, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to support multi-shift operations and ability to complete company training and cross-train in at least two departments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, stand or walk for shifts of at least nine hours, and work in varying temperatures and noise conditions.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of experience with Operations and Operational Support Systems, including WMS, WCS, or LMS.
• 1–2 years of automated material-handling equipment and SQL experience.
• Experience supporting users and working under general supervision in fast-paced operational environments.
