Loss Prevention Responsible (Retail Security)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Toronto Support Office, Toronto, Canada

What you will do

• Drive loss prevention strategy, execution, prevention methods, and shrinkage reduction across the sales market.
• Analyze shrinkage reports, transaction data, inventory discrepancies, and LPMS data to identify loss trends, process weaknesses, and risk areas.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, investigations, case management, and reporting related to theft, fraud, administrative losses, and communication with law enforcement.
• Implement and evaluate loss prevention tools, training, awareness initiatives, detection methods, and targeted risk-mitigation actions.
• Partner with store operations and sales market leadership to apply policies consistently and build accountability for loss prevention.
• Manage LP tools and standards, prepare KPIs and reports, conduct store audits, and support inventory and other security activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in loss prevention, security, or risk management, preferably in retail or fashion retail.
• Experience reducing shrinkage, improving operational compliance, implementing LP strategies, and using detection tools.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management systems, POS transaction analysis, LPMS, KPI dashboards, CCTV systems, and shrinkage reports.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, communication, training, leadership, and influencing skills, with high integrity and discretion.
• Fluency in English and relevant local languages is mandatory; ability to travel between locations is required.

Nice to have

• Certification in Loss Prevention, Risk Management, or Retail Security.
• Experience handling fraud investigations, authorities, and LP case management.
