Director, EAML Strategy & Reporting (AML)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Define EAML priorities, strategic roadmaps, and performance objectives with senior leadership.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for boards, committees, and senior executives.
• Ensure AML and Anti-Terrorist Financing reporting is accurate, complete, consistent, and timely.
• Analyze operational workflows, resource allocation, and workforce capacity requirements.
• Build governance frameworks for EAML metrics, report access, policies, and controls.
• Lead and develop a reporting and governance team while collaborating with Risk Management, Finance, Internal Audit, Human Resources, and other internal partners.

Requirements

• Expertise in anti-money laundering, compliance, or risk management.
• University degree and understanding of value creation, options analysis, and business performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, risk management, problem-solving, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
